REQUIEM: THE REMAINS OF THE DAY. A PORTFOLIO IN BLACK AND WHITE.
Requiem: The Remains of the Day is a photographic meditation on loss, absence, and the fragility of place in an era of human-driven climate change.
Made in the aftermath of the 2021 Dixie Fire, the work documents the remains of Greenville, California—a Sierra town nearly erased in under forty-five minutes.
Printed at large scale, these photographs ask viewers to slow down, to look closely, and to bear witness to what remains when a community is abruptly undone.
